>> DOES MR. CHAPMAN WANT TO SAY ANYTHING HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED OVER THE LAST 30 YOURS OF BEING ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES?

>> A FULL AGENDA AND I DON'T WANT TO TAKE TIME.

WHAT YOU ALL HAVE TO APPRECIATE IS WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS I HAVE HAD TO WORK WITH THE CEMETERY TRUSTEES AND THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND BOTH COUNCIL AND TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES.

WE HAVE THE GREATEST GROUP OF PEOPLE ANYBODY COULD ASK FOR.

AND THAT'S THE REAL JOY OF THIS JOB.

AND I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THAT PRIVILEGE AND OPPORTUNITY TO DO THAT. I DON'T KNOW, RACHEL, IF YOU WERE THINKING OF ANYTHING ELSE. BUT THAT'S WHAT I THINK ABOUT,

THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WE HAVE. >> PRESIDENT B. MICHAEL: HUGE STRIDES. I REMEMBER WHEN THE LINT ROAD CEMETERY HAD NOTHING, VIRTUALLY NOTHING, VERY LITTLE.

THIS IS SO AMAZING, THE STRIDES.

WHAT WONDERFUL TWO CEMETERIESS WE HAVE.

>> I DEFINITELY WANT TO THANK FOR LEADERSHIP FOR THE TRUSTEES. FOR THE MEMBERS OF THAT.

FOR THE CEMETERY AND ALSO FOR THE PUTTING TOGETHER THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND WHAT A HUGE WORKING GROUP THAT HAS BEEN TO BRING FORWARD THESE PLANS FOR WALNUT GROVE AND FLINT ROAD AND BRING IT TO FRUITION. WITHOUT YOUR WORK, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. WE STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO.

BUT I APPRECIATE THE TIME YOU HAVE SPENT.

>> A LONG WAY TO GO. I MUST SHARE, FRIDAY NIGHT WE HAD AN APPRECIATION DINNER FOR OUR ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND TRUSTEES. AND OUR THEME OF THAT WAS WE'RE PART OF THE STORY AND THE STORY CONTINUES BECAUSE OF YOU.

AND THAT'S ALL OF YOU. WE TALK ABOUT THAT WE REALLY GO BACK TO 1858 AND TALK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED THEN AND THE ORIGINAL MINUTES FROM THE CEMETERY.

I READ THE ORIGINAL MINUTES FROM THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF 1858 AND

[00:05:01]

'59 AS THE CEMETERY WAS BEING FORMED.

AND THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWNSHIP AND VILLAGE WAS BEING FORMED. THE STORY CONTINUES AND WE ARE JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF A VERY LONG STORY.

AS WITH THE HOMESTEAD WE JUST ACQUIRED.

WE SEE THAT AS OUR FOREVER OFFICE 100 YEARS FROM NOW.

AND SO WE HAVE -- WE'RE JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS LONG, LONG STORY. AND AGAIN, IT'S A REAL HONOR FOR ME TO BE A PART OF IT AND I THAN YOU, ALL.

>> PRESIDENT B. MICHAEL: WE THANK YOU YOU AND THE STAFF THAT WORKED FOR THE CEMETERY. AND ALL THE OTHER TRUSTEES AND YOUR ADVISORY COMMITTEE. MR. OBERLE.

>> THANK YOU, MADAM PRESIDENT. IT'S GREAT TO BE HERE WITH OUR FRIENDS FROM CITY COUNCIL. IT'S TWICE A YEAR BUT IT'S GREAT TO BE HERE. WE ALL SERVE ON A LOT OF BOARDS AND A LOT OF VOLUNTEERING. IT'S A PRIVILEGE TO SERVE ON THE THE CEMETERY BOARD WITH THE TEAM.

I THINK OF EVERYTHING I DO IT'S PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST SELFLESS ORGANIZATIONS. NO EGOS, EVERYONE IS THERE TO MAKE IT IS BETTER PLACE, WORKS AT A TEAM.

AND WE'RE GETTING A LOT DONE WITH THE GARDENER PROPERTY.

WE'RE UNDER BUDGET IN TERMS OF OF SPENDINGS, OUR REVENUE IS STRONG THIS YEAR. THE REDEVELOPMENT AND PLANNING AT THE CEMETERY IS TOPNOTCH. WE HAVE A GREAT STAFF.

AND WE HAVE ONE PERSON TO POINT TO AND IT'S COURTNEY, KIND OF OUR LEADER AND HE HAS TAUGHT ME A LOT ABOUT LEADERSHIP.

IT'S GREAT HE'S REAPPOINTED. >> PRESIDENT B. MICHAEL: THANK YOU. ANYONE ELSE?

>> IT'S THE LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT THAT COUNCIL AND DEALERSHIP TRUSTEES HAVE PROVIDET THAT MAKES IT ALL

POSSIBLE AND THAT'S MY THANKS. >> PRESIDENT B. MICHAEL: THANK YOU VERY MUCH. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE TO COME BEFORE THE JOINT MEETING? IF NOT, MS. DUFFEY MOVES FOR
