WE WERE AWARDED FUNDING IN SEPTEMBER. WE ARE SEEKING THE APPROPRIATION THIS EVENING AND HOPEFULLY HAVE THESE INSTALLED BY THE END OF THE YEAR. A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PROJECT SCOPE. WE WERE TO CONDUCT A MARKET ANALYSIS, EVALUATE THE FUNDING AVAILABILITY, SELECT THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE, IDENTIFY THE BEST LOCATIONS FOR THE CHARGERS, APPLY FOR THE REBATE, IDENTIFY THE COST STRUCTURE, WHICH WE NEED TO DO. ONE IN OLD WORTHINGTON AND I'LL SHOW YOU THE LOCATION AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY CENTER. EACH LOCATION INDIVIDUALLY IS ELIGIBLE UP TO $100,000. EACH CAME IN JUST ABOVE $80,000 THAT INCLUDED ACQUISITION, INSTALLATION, AND ALL APPLICABLE FEES SO THE TOTAL REQUEST BEFORE YOU TONIGHT, THE APPROPRIATION WAS JUST UNDER $165,000. LOCATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS. AGAIN, WE TOOK A L L LOOK AT THE LEVEL II CHARGES, PIVOTED TOWARD THE LEVEL THREE. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS OLD WORTHINGTON WE DO NEED TO UPGRADE A UTILITY POLE AND MITER SO THE COST CAME IN SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN WHAT THE WORTHINGTON COMMUNITY CENTER ELIGIBLE PROJECT COSTS WERE. WE HAVE A DRAFT PROPOSAL WAITING ON THE APPROPRIATION, EV UNITED IS TEED UP AND READY TO GO, TO ORDER THE CHARGERS, HAVE THEM DELIVERED. IT'S APPROXIMATELY A 30-DAY DELIVERY TIMEFRAME. WITHIN 30 DAYS OF US SIGNING THE CONTRACT WITH EV UNITED WE WOULD HAVE THE CHARGERS DELIVERED. [00:15:06] SECOND LOCATION IS OLD WORTHINGTON. THIS IS BEHIND THE OLD BAG OF NAILS IN THE MUNICIPAL LOT OFF WEST NEW ENGLAND. WHERE THE RED CIRCLE IS RIGHT NOW, THAT IS CURRENTLY A HANDICAP SPOT. IT WOULD MOVE OVER TWO. THOSE TWO SPOTS WOULD BE EV CHARGING STATIONS. THE CHARGERS THEMSELVES ARE IT'S A PEDESTAL WITH TWO PLUGS. THE CHARGER WOULD GO IN BETWEEN TWO PARKING PLACES AND TWO CARS WOULD BE ABLE TO USE THEM SIMULTANEOUSLY. THIS IS JUST THE FUNDING APPLICATION. THE CHECKLIST WE NEEDED TO GO THROUGH. I AM SADDENED TO REPORT THAT I HEARD FROM THE FAMILY OF FORMER COUNCILMEMBER DON BRENNAN TODAY. HE WAS A COUNCILMEMBER WHO SERVED FROM 1977 TO 1983. WAS A LONG-TIME WORTHINGTON PERSON AND HE PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 86. HE RAISED SIX KIDS HERE IN WORTHINGTON. SERVED HIS COMMUNITY ON COUNCIL. AND I GOT TO KNOW HIM BECAUSE HE OWNS, THE FAMILY OWNS NUMEROUS PROPERTIES ON THE EAST SIDE OF WORTHINGTON. SO I WANTED TO REPORT THAT. THEY FOUND IN THE ACTUAL OHIO REVISED CODE, A STATEMENT THAT SAID IF A LAND OWNER IS THREATENED WITH EMINENT DOMAIN AND THEY FEEL IT'S BEEN RULED AGAINST THEM AND THEY FEEL IT'S INCORRECT, THEY CAN APPEAL THAT TO THE CITY GOVERNMENT OUR TOWNSHIP GOVERNMENT OR THE JURISDICTION THEY THEY ARE IN AND THAT BODY WOULD SERVE AS THE REVIEW ON WHETHER OR NOT EMINENT DOMAIN SHOULD GO THROUGH. THERE IS AN APPEAL PROCESS. THAT TOOK A LOT OF THE WIND OUT OF THE SAIL PUSHING THE LEGISLATION THROUGH. THE OTHER IS THE LAWSUIT REGARDING THE CENTRAL COLLECTION OF OUR INCOME TAX IS GOING TO BE HEARD IN FRONT OF THE OHIO SUPREME COURT. THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS, THE SUPREME COURT IS GOING TO BE HEARING IT. AND THEY ARE TAKING IT ON BOTH WHAT USED TO BE THE FORMER HOUSE BILL 5, AS WELL AS THE MOST RECENT COLLECTION. SO TWO AREAS.
