>> I USUALLY LIKE TO SAY A LITTLE BIT ABOUT WHAT S HAPPENING TONIGHT. MANY OF YOUR KNOW THAT MY FIRST 18 YEARS. AND WE CHANGED GOVERNMENT BY COUP. I LIVED THROUGH 11 OF THEM.

CHANGING BY ELECTION IS MUCH PREFERABLE THEN COUP.

COMING HERE, I FOUND IT WAS VERY CIVILIZED.

IT TOOK E YEARS TO FIGURE OUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS. WHERE I GREW UP THE DIFFERENCE WAS STARK AND DRAMATIC AND NOT THE SHADE WE HAVE ERE.

WHEN I GOT ON THE SUPREME COURT, I APPRECIATED MORE CITY COUNCIL BECAUSE YOU ARE TWO LAYERS REMOVED.

I WAS A LITTLE MORE CONNECTED AS A TRIAL JUDGE.

YOU CAN'T TALK TO JUDGES OR ASK FOR MONEY.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE COMMITTEE SURROUND YOU.

YOU DON'T HAVE A LOT OF HUMAN CONTACT.

WHEN YOU ARE ON CITY COUNCIL, THEY CAN STOP YOU ON THE GROCERY STORE OR STREET. IT'S DEMOCRACY AT ITS MOST BA BASIC, FINEST AND RESPONSIBLE. I WANT TO SAY A NOTE OF APPRECIATION TO OUR FINE CITY COUNCIL.

I'VE ALWAYS BEEN SO PROUD OF THEM AND EXCITED I GET TO SWEAR THEM IN. I'M VERY PROUD OF WHAT WE HAVE IN WORTHINGTON. I LIVED HERE ALMOST 30 YEARS NOW. MY KIDS HAVE GONE TO SCHOOL HERE. I WANTED TO GO TO A LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT BECAUSE I GREW UP IN A BOARDING SCHOOL IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY. I WANTED THEM TO LIVE MY CHILDHOOD TH THROUGH THEM. THANK YOU FOR ME BEING ABLE TO SWEAR YOU IN. FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAN BE VERY PROUD OF OUR FINE PUBLIC SERVANTS.

SO THANK YOU.
